Este hilo pretende ser un lugar para que todos podamos informar e informarnos de todos los eventos(reuniones de club,s,exposiciones,subastas,fiestas,cenas...)tanto a nivel internacional como nacional de que tengamos noticia.Dejo aquí tres de los que tengo noticias y al de Italia (día 6/12)voy a asistir

ZIPPO ANUNCIA PLANES DE COMPRA SOBRE RONSON(os dejo la nota oficial que figura en la web de zippo sobre el tema):

Zippo Manufacturing Company announced today that the company has executed an agreement to purchase certain assets of Ronson Consumer Products Corporation, Woodbridge, N.J. The agreement also includes Ronson Corporation of Canada, Mississauga, Ontario.
Ronson has developed a strong business in the lighter fluid market and also markets an array of pocket and multi-purpose lighters and butane torches.
Zippo is one of the world’s most widely recognized brands and is best known for its iconic windproof lighter. The company also markets lighter accessories, butane candle lighters, and lifestyle products for men such as leather goods and writing instruments. A new line of fire-related outdoor gear is being launched this fall.
According to Zippo President and CEO Greg Booth, “Zippo is looking forward to adding the venerable Ronson trademark to its family of brands. This acquisition provides an opportunity to expand our business, particularly leveraging Ronson’s competitive position in the lighter and fuels markets. We are very excited about the growth opportunities for both brands.”
The Zippo purchase agreement does not include the Ronson Aviation subsidiary of Trenton, NJ.
Zippo was founded by George G. Blaisdell in 1932. Other Zippo subsidiaries are W.R. Case and Sons Cutlery Company, Bradford, PA and Zippo Fashion Italia, Vincenza, Italy. Ronson was founded as The Art Metal Works in 1886 by Louis V. Aronson and has been marketing lighters since 1913.

LAS REUNIONES O MEETING,S DE LOS CLUBES SON INTERESANTES POR VARIAS CUESTIONES,UNA ES LA POSIBLIDAD DE ESTABLECER CONTACTOS CON OTROS COLECCIONISTAS,OTRA EL INTERCAMBIO DE INFORMACIÓN ACTUALIZADA SOBRE MUCHOS TEMAS(MECHEROS,ADUANAS,NOVEDADES,ETC)Y COMO NO EN MUCHOS DE ELLOS LA POSIBILIDAD DE ENCONTRAR PIEZAS BASTANTE COMPLICADAS DE VER EN LOS CIRCUITOS DE VENTA NORMALES.SOBRE EL DE ZIPPO CLUB ITALIA,DECIR ADEMÁS QUE ES COMO UNA REUNIÓN DE UNA GRAN FAMILIA,CON CENAS,COMIDAS,ETC ADEMÁS DE LA POSIBILIDAD DE ALGUN RECORRIDO TURÍSTICO(MARANELLO ESTÁ A 30 KILOMETROS DEL LUGAR DEL MEETING).

SOBRE EL TEMA DEL ENCENDIDO DE MAZZI,S: LO DICHO,GUIDO,EL SOCIO Nº1 DE ZIPO CLUB ITALIA SUELO HACERLO EN CUANTO LE ENTREGAN SU ZIPO PINTADO O GANA ALGÚN ZIPPO EN UNA DE LAS SUBASTAS.ES CASI UNA TRADICIÓN EL LLENADO DE GASOLINA,EL ENCENDIDO ENTRE BROMAS,ETC.

Para intentar aclara el tema que traté antes en otro hilo...
Cuando creamos un hilo es para tratar sobre un tema en concreto, no para tratar un tema genérico. Para agrupar todos los hilos de un tema general (como en este caso "Eventos") ya existe un subforo que los agrupa.

gracias por la aclaración adolfo, es interesante conocer todo eso... la verdad que ese meetin en modena tiene que estar muy bien, y me puedo imaginar el murmullo en el ambiente en el momento del encendido jejeje aunque el viaje a bradford es el viaje a la cuna...

(no se si es lo mas adecuado responder aquí,por el tema del hilo y tal, pero entiendo que adolfo me responde a una pregunta que hice en otro hilo, y por ello quería agradecerlo)
